FAMILY BACKGROUND
K'lane was born on a colony on the edge of Klingon space. His mother (human), and his father (Klingon) raised him to find his own way in his beliefs and way of life regarding culture, etc. His parents still live at the colony and were glad to have him apply to Starfleet. K'lane went through the academy with passing grades. He excelled at tactical and security training. He held a record for the best and longest close quarter combat. He took an advanced class in hand to hand combat where he went 4 days on a training facility where we was subjected to literally hundreds of enemies ranging from Romulan to Jem'Hadar.

He is 6 feet 10 high; 215 lbs. ; black hair; brown eyes; he has the ridges and the hair of a Klingon but has some of the human personality traits. He finds this an annoyance at times. He is muscular like a Klingon.

Psychological Data:
K'lane is always in conflict with himself. He has a strong Klingon warrior side to him, but yet his human traits are strong also. This creates a constant conflict within him. Which side will win out is always a question he has to ask himself. He is split between two cultures and beliefs. When battle comes, his Klingon side surfaces every time. But in everyday business, there is the conflict between the two sides.
STARFLEET RECORD
He has served on two previous ships in Starfleet; The USS Melbourne (Ambassador class), and the USS Budapest (Akira class). He was on the Melbourne for 3 years as a security officer. He was then transferred to the Budapest to take a position as Assistant Chief Tactical and Security Officer with a rank of Lieutenant.
